#CWI19 fellow Carmina Bayombong, Co-Founder of InvestEd, is among the 300 young entrepreneurs, leaders and trailblazers featured on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia list for this year, in the Finance & Venture Capital category. The list puts a spotlight on Millenial and Gen Z innovative leaders who have thrived despite the pandemic and global uncertainty.
In the Philippines, Carmina’s business InvestEd uses a proprietary credit-scoring algorithm to provide student loans to low-income, high-potential young “dreamers” who are usually shut out of traditional bank loans. InvestEd has also developed a training and coaching program focusing on employment and financial literacy to help borrowers get a job and ensure repayment.
