The first-ever edition of the Google for Startups Accelerator’in MENA has its cohort of 10 startups, who will now be put through their paces in one of the most exciting new additions to the regional ecosystems in years.
Announced in October 2020 as part of the 'Grow Stronger with Google' initiative, the three-month virtual program targets tech startups, with the criteria based around several factors, including the problem they are trying to solve and how it creates value for users, their willingness to use Machine Learning technology to solve business challenges and viability of long-term scaling.
Chefaa, founded by #CWI21 fellow Dr. Rasha Rady from Egypt, has been selected to join this first cohort. Chefaa is a GPS-enabled platform to allow chronic patients to order, schedule, and refill recurring prescriptions and manage all their pharmacy needs.
